1977 LABEL BY ALEXANDER BALFOUR

Founded in 2011 in Auckland, New Zealand by British designer Kit Alexander Balfour Lawrence, Alexander Balfour draws on the history of European casual clothing and to create sportswear perfectly suited to New Zealand's ever changing sub tropical climate. An embroidered 1977 represents the year the founder rather than the label was established and has become the signature detail of the mainline 1977 Label. Alexander Balfour produce seasonal collections and are complemented by accessories and limited edition items year round. Designed and made in New Zealand is integral to the label's vision of high quality sustainable apparel as is supporting and utilising Auckland crafts people and suppliers.
