“With a career in teaching young children Art and History of Art, I have acquired a lot from their freedom and freshness of thinking. Picasso himself said that it took him a lifetime to learn how to draw like a child and I am proud to have learnt so much from my students. My paintings, sketches and patchworks derive from a careless flow of creativity that I have not lost with age. This year I decided to take an early retirement to concentrate more on my passion and thank my students by showing them what they’ve enriched me with.”
