CARLA PONTES

Carla Pontes has a degree in Product Design at ESAD Matosinhos and Politecnico di Milano, and did fashion design studies at CITEX-MODATEX school, Porto. In 2011 she does an internship at Nuno Baltazar | Atelier, where eventually collaborates as Junior Designer until November 2013.
By the end of 2012 she presents her first collection at Portugal Fashion’s BLOOM platform, as well as in Madrid’s Matadero during the Young Designers Fashion Shows.
In 2014 and 2015 exhibits in London during London FW, as part of the designers group who represented Portugal at the International Fashion Showcase.
In February 2015 Carla Pontes wins the portuguese section of European Young Designers Contest, part of Porto Fashion Show.
Currently her collections continue to be presented on the Portugal Fashion/BLOOM catwalk shows, while enlarging international presence with showrooms in London, Paris, Copenhagen and Shanghai.
