I was born in Galicia, Spain.
In 2008 I graduated in Fashion Design from Istituto Europeo di Design in Madrid, and directly started an internship with Spanish designer DelPozo. Soon after I moved to Paris and worked first at L‘Eclaireur and then at Arnys, a men’s luxury brand, doing a second internship in the Haute Couture atelier.
I moved to the Netherlands to enrol in the ArtEZ Fashion Masters in 2010 and I graduated in June 2012.
I am currently living and working in New York

Waltzing lights

Soft, delicate, transparent, colourful,smooth, round, with layers and tentacles. While showing elegance dancing around the ocean, looking beautiful and weak, jellyfishes hide a darker side within them.
I am fascinated by the contrast of looking sensitive but being dangerous.However what interests me the most is the metamorphosis that takes place during their life, going through different stages until they become a jellyfish.
This life cycle is the main idea of my collection. Using the jellyfish as a metaphor my intention was to create an evolving collection, relying on different materials, textures, colours, prints and round shapes.
