The label was founded in 2011 by designer Chia Jen Chang. With a degree in Industrial Design, Chia found his true passion in fashion design when he was in Milan. He discovered that fashion design is much more accessible in people’s everyday life than industrial design.

He studied at Istituto Marangoni of Fashion Design, Italy. After design school and working in the fashion industry for years, Chia decided to start his own collections. He wanted to offer consumers options other than the mass market of fashion, and so he debuted a mass market line “vivacita”.

He believes that fashion is a language. It sends messages from the consumers and the designers. He insists on putting unique touches and twists in his design so they don’t end up like fast food culture.
