MYSISTERMADEIT is a label inspired by African culture with a British contemporary signature. Collections are rich in colour, fun, elegant, sexy and easy to wear. Each garment is constructed using traditional African fabrics combined with leather, linen, chiffon and silk to create chic, playful and wearable fashion with a bold, edgy finish.

Exploring new print techniques on African fabrics – particularly Guinea Brocade. Modern designs are applied to fabric digitally. This collection is an homage to evolution of African print design. The motif – a simple repeat pattern of a flower in black surrounded by splashes of colour to bring it to life. A strong, bold print is then softened by the cream based Guinea brocade fabric.
Shapes and cuts used in the collection were inspired by the designer’s personal friends- all from different walks of life, who’s
stories have always inspired her in one way or another. Each piece is named after a friend as she as she draws reference to
their personalities in each item.
