Pliure Offensive

''Pliure Offensive'' collection is inspired by origami and by the strenght of women. The shoot for this collection, derived from recycled leather, takes place against the backdrop of the Turcot Interchange, a freeway whose reconstruction is drawing the same outrage and dissent as opposing sides of the leather-and-fur debate. The same push and pull resonates between these origami-like ensembles with the space they inhabit. These photographs by Alexandre Guilbeault (M.Arch), demonstrate a resistance between the model and the infrastructure landscape.
