The continuous inspiration for the brand is the complex make-up of a woman seen in everyday life. Her every decisions, emotional responses & attachments, mood, feelings, actions, her achievements, struggles, aspirations and dreams etc - all unique personalities & qualities of any woman on any given day. Our mission is to select and translate these qualities into form and function infused with the right elements and colours to mirror the complex characteristics.
We aim to express beauty from the intangible qualities to the tangible products.

Mya is the vision and creative force behind the Myakot brand.
She was born in Hanoi but spent much of her childhood in the small province of Ninh Binh with her mother and step father. By middle school her family moved back to Hanoi where she attended International school and thereafter studied abroad for next 8 years in New Zealand. After having graduated with a Fashion Design degree in 2008 she returned to Vietnam and settles in Ho Chi Minh city. It wasn't until December 2015 that she officially launched the Myakot brand, Her vision was to create a handbag brand that reflects and evokes emotional attachment to the individual's sense of identity through fashion.
