Molly Sellars is a British fashion designer currently based in London, UK. She is originally from the Lake District, growing up surrounded by the outdoors is where her interest in functional outdoor clothing started. Molly is currently in her final year of studying Fashion Design at the University of Westminster. Her experience in the fashion industry so far includes working at Studio ALCH, Paq Works and Norse Projects in Copenhagen. Molly’s clothing has previously been worn by artists such as MHD, Kojey Radical, DJ Snake, Joy Crookes, Hamzaa, Jvck James and House of Pharaohs. More recently she has been recognised as one of MSM’s Designer’s to Watch, Molly’s work reflects her interest in clothing fit for the outdoors whilst highlighting the subject of sustainability, her graduate collection comprises of a series of garments that counteract festival waste, whilst striving for functionality. Garments presented suggest new propositions for festival waste by exploring the art of being unconventional, through ideas surrounding repurposing festival waste into desirable and wearable outdoor clothing.
