MIM was designed by lawyer turned fashion designer Stephanie McLean. Stephanie always had a passion for fashion. While pursuing a Masters in Real Estate Development, at Columbia University's School of Architecture, Stephanie refined her design skills. Her legal education gave her a solid understanding of developing and operating a business.Stephanie merged her love of design and business acumen, in 2013 launched her line MIM- Mogul In The Making by Stephanie McLean. MIM is committed to using both sustainable fabrics and an ethical supply chain in manufacturing.

There is a strong African Influence on the collection, inspired by the bold and intricate African prints.Serengeti means "Endless Plains," which perfectly embodies the MIM client who also has endless possibilities.
