The AW16 collection is all about capturing the mood of "The last day of summer". I pictured Her having a last swim in the cooled sea, after which she would quickly wrap herself in a bathing gown or a towel. I was thinking of how the garments would move or feel like being wet and shifted.
It`s 6.35pm, it`s cold and windy at the beach. It is all about the movement, freedom, nostalgia.
I was looking for ways to translate this very particular mood into Fashion, to adapt the concept to work beyond the mere appearance of the collection and give it a particular feel.
Boldness and the concept of heavy outwear wrapping around naked skin greatly influenced the lineup manifesting itself in the form of overseized padded pieces reminding of a cozy blanket.

The collection radiates coolness and carelessness starting due to construction, which is simple yet technically sophisticated, incorporating boyish overtones. Loosely cut pieces contrast with wetsuit-like turtlenecks and fitted bottoms. There is a masculine femininity and freshness achieved through an interplay of matte boldness and sleek couture.
The wild, fluffy embroidery, hand attached prints and their deliberate positioning complement the easygoing character of the lineup, while revealing couture references at its core.
