Lazerian

Lazerian is a contemporary creative studio that manipulates established design concepts, digital technology and functional materials to create radical solutions in architectural decoration, exhibitions, lighting, furniture, jewellery and sculpture. Overseeing the creative design and end-to-end build and installation processes for a wide range of international clients, as well as a series of industry-acclaimed conceptual projects, British designer Liam Hopkins has seen Lazerian grow in capability and reputation since its inception in 2006. Lazerian’s commitment to combining traditional handcraft techniques with the gift of modern, computer-based modelling and pattern cutting, affords Hopkins and his skilled studio team the opportunity to explore new concepts in multi-dimensional design. Preoccupied by the inherent strength found in paper, wood and carbon fibre, Lazerian finds strength and beauty in the lightest and most ubiquitous of materials. By breaking new ground, Lazerian’s work has featured in numerous international publications, private collections and public galleries such as Museo Poldi Pezzoli (Milan), Manchester City Art Gallery and Moscow Design Museum.
