Khàrm design

Khàrm design is the poetic exploration of the world, of the body and of the human being in the world.
The collections of Carmela Barbato are entirely hand-drawn by the Designer, who for each of them follows a path of EXPLORATION and RESEARCH aimed at STYLE, MATERIALS (Plexiglass, natural stones, PLA), the CONTAMINATION of TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUES with the new TECHNOLOGIES, such as LASER and 3D PRINTING, LIGHTNESS in INDOSSABILITY and ASYMMETRY in FORMS. They tell stories, ways to celebrate humanity, the MEETING between IMMAGINATION and REALITY, concrete and ephemeral, INSTINCT and REASON.
A STRONG AND ROOTED TIE with Naples, its EARTH and all the culture, tradition and symbolism of the city of Naples represents a RICH AND UNEXESTABLE BAGGAGE of EXPLORATION and COMPARISON. But also a FRESH CURIOSITY: the REMEMBER, the FANTASY of a UNKNOWN PLACE, the MYTH of a distant culture, the REJECTION of a world SCORCE.
A humanistic approach and an eclectic mix of non-precious metals and materials, warm materials and cold materials, in which ARTE, CULTURA, NATURA converge.
At the roots of everything there is the continuous study of the BEAUTIFUL WOMAN and the way in which the CONTEMPORARY JEWEL becomes a COMMUNICATION VEHICLE through "CONTINUI MESSAGGI", the search for the movements and the sinuosity of the female body in relation to the emotional, spiritual and emotional.
JEWEL as EXTENSION and PART of self, as a means of EXPRESSION of a NEED, in private and in society.
