At the age of eighteen years old, a curious and motivated Jon Mikeo moved to Barcelona to study fashion design at FDMODA - LCI. Among these years he became finalist in various contests for young talents like 080 Barcelona Fashion, CreaNavarra, among others.
A year prior to his graduation, he got an internship at Santa Eulalia, the best tailor studio in Barcelona. He also received a scholarship at the London College of Fashion to obtain a specialization in Women’s wear. While he was living in London, he got another internships at Agi&Sam (pattern design) and with Panos Yiapanis (editorials for Vogue Hommes Intl. and LOVE Mag.)
At 2014 he presented DIECINUEVE SEGUNDOS (Nineteen Seconds), an intimal, sophisticated, avant-garde collection during his Final Year. His work was shown and awarded by Hempel’s international competition for young designers during the China Fashion Week and as a Best Talent during the Barcelona 080 Fashion Week, supported by Modafad Platform.
