This label is based on the idea of smart textiles. The materials created for the collection "Samfélag" are designed to reflect light in the same manner as the Northern Lights. The style is tough, tomboyish and modern, while drawing on old traditions. The fabric designed with contemporary processes is blended seamlessly with venerable knits.

My fascination with Iceland and Scandinavia is a remnant from my childhood. The memories and events, which influenced me, still today give me a feeling of home. The aurora borealis, the stark nature, the humanity and the crafts culture all have an influence.

Iceland has a mystical image, but it's cultural heritage is also important.
The connection between old-world values and technology has resulted in a collection with substance and unique features; that respects nature while acknowledging the benefits of the synthetic.
