Are talents grow because we have each other and can tell one another were there faults are in order to grow stronger. Are dreams, goals and future exist in Jaiden. rVa. James and we won’t stop till are dreams are reality and can grow further we won’t stop no matter the many obstacles we have endured and the millions more we will continue to face in the future. They wont stop till all those that doubted them are wrong and until they can help others that need help, that need a voice and a platform to stand on. They won’t stop because everything is worth a fight and a struggle they won’t stop because they are Jaiden. rVa. James. For S/S 08 the duo was inspired predominately by their combined African heritage using materials, fabrics and prints created by the Ashanti tribe of Ghana and the Igbo tribe from Nigeria. The collection itself is a fusion of luxury sportswear meets traditional tailoring. Comprising of a selection T-shirts with the most surreal & garish images adorned with Swarovski crystals. Dress shirts, Tailored and Jersey Athletic shorts, Harem trousers and Hooded jackets contrasted in gold and silver all using the most traditional of African fabrics. ‘We didn’t want people to forget how skilled African’s are in making fabrics and also how rich in heritage and culture the continent is, we decided to use everyday wear such as hooded jackets and Gilets and traditional English items such as shirts and tailored shorts. Also on are travels we were inspired by so much especially those stores that dare to be different that exist to sell quality clothes and are also voices for young and unknown designers’.
