House of Ezis was established in 2009 and is designed by Andrzej Pytel.

Andrzejs’ background in architecture and his broad inter-disciplinary knowledge resonates through each carefully designed and crafted piece.

Structured, minimal and architectural; HOUSE OF EZIS Formal and Bridal Gowns are skilfully designed to reflect a current mood, whilst making reference to classics. The collection balances fluid draping with structured pattern making to express and flatter the female form. Our focus is on design, cut and tailoring methods, we don’t rely on fancy fabrics to conceal this fact.

Our gowns are constructed from fine base cloths sourced from all over the world: for structured gowns we source upholstery from Belgium; for form-fitting stretch gowns we use Italian jerseys; Japanese cottons for linings; embroidered and brocade fabrics from New Zealand.

HOUSE OF EZIS gowns are individually made-to-measure in our Brisbane based design studio boutique located in Fortitude Valley. The service includes all garment alterations and a secure reservation service for your special event. If you have a dream fabric that you sourced yourself, we can also consider it’s appropriation into one of our future classic styles.

Andrzejs’ achievements include: selection for Venice International Architecture Biennale 2012 – Australian Pavilion; distribution through Japans’ largest department store SEIBU; and special invitation to showcase latest collection during Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion @ Queensland Art Gallery | GOMA.

Andrzej worked and continues to collaborate closely with international celebrities, musicians and sportspeople including: Andy Cato from GROOVE ARMADA – Glastonbury Music Festival, DJ Steve Aoki from DimMakRecords; Saint Saviour; Australian swimming champion & multiple-gold winner and world record holder Cate Campbell; Chanel10 Bachelorette 2016 - Georgia Love; TV News host - Liz Cantor and International Actress Sophie Vavasseur at the Logies 2018.
