Salakaia was born and raised in Georgia. From her early teenage years she started her journey as a cosmopolite and since then has been living and studying in many different countries exploring different cultures. Diversity, change and constant need for renewal and exploration were the paramount factors to relocate from Paris to New York and continued her studies at Parsons The New School for Design. Upon completing her internships at Louis Vuitton and Chanel PR she launched her fashion label in 2015.
