A playful concept about the past. Playing with the childlike cartooneque feeling by the use of basic shapes, bright colors, flatness and proportions.
My feeling can strongly say that I remember an event, but is that reality. Do I really remember this or do I think that I remember something from looking at a photo so many times and from the stories of my parents.
With random household objects I visualize the thoughts of blurring and distorting what you think you remember. By covering and wrapping these objects, details are lost and the objects are simplified. It's the complexity of the undetailed.
The collection is for 95% made out of re-used materials.
