Recently graduating from Bristol UWE, studying Fashion and Textiles, I have discovered that my strengths lie in developing and creating interesting and exciting new textures and stitches, combining fabric manipulation and knit design. Although I am predominately a hand knit, knitwear designer, and capable of designing my own hand knit patterns. I am equally confident designing and pattern cutting woven fabrics. I have successfully shown my collection ‘decades of elegance and fashion’, at London Graduate Fashion Week and the UKHKA knit and stitch show in London. I studied vintage hand knit patterns and classic underwear to form the structure to both my woven and knitwear designs. I then experimented with hand knitted textures, techniques and yarn variations, such as knotted and knitted strips of jersey to create a contemporary fusion of style.
