Michela Gaiofatto has been feeding her passion for fashion since she was young, learning the tailoring art from her “Maestra” Tiziana.
These last years she has produced hundreds of on-measure-made dresses, which has lent her better to understand the di erent relations between bodies and shapes, improving her knowledge of materials and pattern making.
After the economic studies, she has reinforced her design skills attending the IUAV University in Venice, where she graduated with excellent evaluation in Fashion Design.
After the graduation she has worked as intern and as consultant for some of the most important italian luxury fashion houses, in style and product o ce. In her work Michela combines creativity with tradition and technology. She always cares about poetry and charme in her creations even when she produce them with 3D technologies, a vanguard in the apparel industry.
In 2013 Michela has launched her own fashion brand with which she has achieved great results. At the very beginnign of her career she has been selected as one of the most promising and fashion forward designer by NJAL team. Then, after several goals, the very last achievement has come thanks to the team of Altaroma, led by Silvia Venturini Fendi and in partnership with Vogue Talents, who has included her in the selected designer for the aspired Showcase project.

gaiofatto is based on a vision of luxury that means well-being all around. A lifestyle whole made of good sesations and respect for the self and for the world around us. Persuing this aim Michela Gaiofatto, the brand's art director, works hard in order to create clothes with an high (positive) 'social' impact. She believes, creating them in a good way, produces good energy, which clothes collect and then share with people they will meet on their way.
Beauty, style and sophistication, handcraft and innovation, passion for excellence. These are the values that generate a luxury made of substance and not merely of appearance.

The study of altered geometries, shapes and volumes, and of relationships between body and space, characterizes an experimental approach in the construction of the item of clothing,
The result is a fresh and essential aesthetic, characterized by a contemporary and linear style, bared up to the concept essence.
The minimal cuts are studied in order to highlight the close attention paid for details which are designed to have aesthetic value in its own right.
Each model has a sophisticated touch that will never go unobserved.

The couture world build up the reference background of the brand, as you can see in the garments construction and in some handmade details. The sartorial know-how combines with creative innovation through the decomposition of classical patterns and structures. The in-depth study behind each garment guarantees the value of durability, a key point in Gaiofatto. This endless research puts every single piece in a new space beyond ephemeral trends.
The use of precious and innovative materials which marries the wisdom of craftsmanship in a production process that is all “Made in Italy” completes the high pro le of the brand. The production focuses on key pieces so everything is created to be special and whoever wears Gaiofatto can feels special too.
Each collection is aimed at satisfying the needs of a cross-age, clearly identi able woman: demanding and cultured, conscious about the environment where she lives and about the continuous evolution happening around her. She is a sophisticated and independent woman, proud of her nature, which is masterly shown by her femininity.
