Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico City (#MBFWMx) will celebrate its 22nd edition from October 1st to 7th with 31 presentations, 41 designers, 2 universities, 60 models, 8 locations and talent National Monument that takes symbolic public spaces of Mexico City: Independence Monument, Polanco Aquarium, Altto San Ángel, Gilardi House, Tlatelolco University Cultural Center, General Prim, Monument to the Revolution and the ID Kitchen Forum.

#MBFWMx has triggered positive change in the fashion industry over the last decade. First it was possible to consolidate all the relevant actors under one platform. Then worked for the designers to adopt the business mentality, selling and presenting at an international level, building brands. At the same time, Mexican models were positioned and paraded around the world today. The most recent evolution of #MBFWMx has seen it take the public spaces of the CDMX and consolidate the support of all levels of Government which amplifies its impact. #MBFWMx thus confirms its dynamic vision based on the continuous evolution of the platform to continue building the future day by day.

"The trust that the designers, the national and international press and our sponsors have placed on the platform is built on a daily basis. What the industry's joint talent has achieved until today is only relevant with a clear vision that allows us all to work today to continue moving towards a full development of Mexican fashion, " said Cory Crespo.

Inspiring changes through the power of fashion is a very relevant message for a generation that grows breaking paradigms. That is why Mercedes-Benz decides to follow up on two of its campaigns. #GrowUp speaks to a younger and more irreverent audience that is not governed by the same rules and therefore clearly reflects the spirit behind the Mercedes-Benz NGCC (New Generation Compact Cars), a line made up of Class A, CLA and GLA .

For its part, She's Mercedes is the platform that aims to inspire, connect, influence, and empower women. She's Mercedes is inspirational and able to face work and personal challenges at the same time. This project takes a different form in each country, but the spirit is the same; INSPIRE, CONNECT and INFLUENCE.

The opening will take place on Sunday, October 1st at the Independence Monument with a Yakampot parade with 100% Mexican models, followed by the Julia and Renata tapatías and an inaugural brunch in the Presidential Suite of the Sheraton Maria Isabel Hotel. That same day in the Polanco Aquarium will present the double Malafacha. On Monday, the fashion week moves south, to Altto San Ángel, to see the proposals of Jannette Klein, Yeshua Herrera, Mexico Diseña, Pineda Covalin, Maya Hansen, Galer Bertín and Benito Santos.

Tuesday morning Sandra Weil at Gilardi House in San Miguel Chapultepec; in the afternoon, back to Altto San Ángel, Universidad Centro, Xico, Iván Ávalos, Lydia Lavín and Alfredo Martínez, concluding with an after show presented by Dos Equis.

The next day at the Tlatelolco University Cultural Center, Kris Goyri, La Troupe, the eleventh edition of Forum Ideas that takes the title of Mexican Fashion: Tradition, Industry and Vanguard,moderated by Gustavo Prado; the Fashion Week Academy initiative, Shinae Park, The Pack, Armando Takeda and Anuar Layon.

On Thursday, the proposals of Jorge Duque, Vero Diaz, Iss Evêglaf, Mexican Design Collective, Zingara and Alexia Ulibarri, will take over the old house of General Prim 30, in Juárez. For its part, the Spanish multinational Mango will be in charge of celebrating the feast of that day.

Lorena Saravia will show her latest collection in the Mirador of the Monument to the Revolution, so that later the Cedrón receives the guests of the closing food on Friday. For the last day, Saturday, October 7, the ID Kitchen Forum will be attended by Barragán, Sánchez Kane and Ready to Die.
