Burn the Man is a celebration of work created by graduating students that challenges an archaic and selective show system at fashion Universities in the UK. We are collaboratively changing the way our work is viewed and presented. We think it is important to show our graduate collections in a way that we have chosen and curated, as creatives we want to exercise our creative control.

Our ethos is rooted in creative freedom that transgresses the traditional systems in fashion studies, after all fashion is about taking risks. Inclusivity is essential for us, regardless of race, gender or income.
Burn the Man is about demonstrating the power of a creative community. We hope to bridge the gap in the negative experience many fashion graduates face in the transition from to student to industry and employment by presenting our work with creative curiosity and to go traverse the current boundaries and adversities graduates face.

Now more than ever we need to encourage creativity, inclusivity and collaboration; and offer a platform to all students regardless of different economic, cultural and social backgrounds. Our aim is to reset the rules of how graduate work is viewed and to show that in unity, togetherness and kindness we succeed.
