"Fashion should be ever evolving and rather than designing from season to season, I'd rather continue to develop a single collection per year that will introduce new accessories and pieces that will change and adapt my customer's ED pieces throughout the year. let's move away from fast fashion and embrace artisan craftsmanship." #smartconsumerisim
California raised with a Parisian heart, moving to France cemented Designer Emily Daccarett's love of French cinema and history. She graduated from Instituto Marangoni in Paris, developing a different style aesthetic and over all design. Right after, she enrolled into the prestigious Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Praisienne whose list of former students include Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino, Issey Miyake, and Karl Lagerfeld to name a few. While there, she trained in the french techniques of draping and pattern making. In 2013, she debuted her first collection for LA Fashion Week at Concept. This Collection presented a collaboration with Tiger House Films for the short narrative film used to kickoff the runway show. Daccarett takes inspiration from the 60s and 70s combining fit and classic tailored lines with modern simplicity. The brand fuses music, film, and fashion and creates short films with each collection.
Emily Daccarett is based in Los Angeles.  Where the designer can be found working on her craft, from designing collections, draping, sewing painting on leather, molding and sculpting accessories to recording music.
