Our aim is to provide career-oriented education at a degree level which will ultimately lead to professional careers for men and women in all industries related to fashion. With a degree in fashion from Ryerson’s School of Fashion you will be prepared for a variety of careers in Fashion Communication and Fashion Design. The first year of the four-year program is common to all Fashion students. This foundation year is designed to give you a general overview of the knowledge and skills applicable to all branches of the fashion industry.

Robert Ott, recognized for his extensive senior management experience with The Jones Group where I held a series of progressively responsible executive roles since I first joined the firm in 1990. I was responsible for overseeing product research and development, supporting marketing activities, developing and overseeing an international business model, and re-evaluating the strategic positioning of corporate brands within Canada.

Ryerson is at the center of this cultural hub providing the backdrop for many Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) screenings, Nuit Blanche and Luminato installations, and other cultural events.
