Through an internationally recognised, practical and industry-relevant curriculum, Raffles ensures students' professional success at the inception of their careers. Graduates are well-equipped to develop their design careers and brands before graduation. Some graduates choose to pursue a Masters in local and global top design schools, such as the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Parsons School of Design in New York, Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and Domus Academy in Milan.
With small class sizes, each student receives personal attention and mentoring. Lecturers are well aware of each student’s strengths and progress and help them reach for their unique potential.

Head of Fashion
Stefán Orschel-Read is Raffle Hong Kong's Fashion Design & Fashion Marketing Programme Director
Stefán graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins in London with a Bachelor of Art (Honours) in Fashion (Fashion Design in Menswear) in Menswear Fashion. He went on to pursue and graduated with a Master of Arts in Fashion Menswear from the Royal College of Art. Before joining Raffles Hong Kong, Stefán was based in London and launched his eponymous label Orschel-Read in 2008. The label became a favourite in the international press. He has shown his collections around the world, from London Fashion Week to Germany, Russia and Italy. He has dressed numerous celebrities, including Lady Gaga and Paul Weller. Stefán has also worked as Head Designer for a Danish formal wear label and has designed uniforms for the Chinese government. In addition, he was a tutor at the University of the Creative Arts working with final year BA students.

We are committed to providing the best learning environment for our students that aids them in their learning journeys. Situated in the heart of the city with just a 5-minute walk to the MTR station, our students are in close proximity to the city’s vibrant retail scene. Our campus consists of two levels, housing 6 classrooms, 6 specialised rooms and a library. Our specialised rooms (Fashion, Sewing, Visual, Photography, 3D, Illustration) provide our students with the latest equipment and technological applications. With a wireless network, students can gain free access to online resources anywhere and anytime in the entire campus.

You can immerse yourself in a city that never stops and flaunt your sense of fashion and design here.
You can get here and around the world easily as Hong Kong is accessible by flights from most major cities around the world, with about half the world’s population within five hours’ flight time. Meanwhile, most nations have consular offices here such that you can easily get assistance from your home country whenever you need. If you encounter any problem living in Hong Kong, various government offices and also Raffles Hong Kong will be here to help you. The average cost of living in Hong Kong (excluding tuition and accommodation fees) is estimated to be around HK$45,000 per student for 10 months of study to pay for meals, transport, education expenses such as books and stationery, laundry and other personal items etc.
