Yuyu Zhang is a Chinese designer who studies Fashion Design at Kent State University. She studied over ten years drawing and her design philosophy is inspired very much by paintings. She focus on colorful minimal style with interesting details.

Latest Collection

Island

The inspiration of this collection comes from a series paintings called "Inland Island" by Hyunmee Lee. I tried to explore more things from those paintings, even if those paintings use light colors but I still read loneliness, so I decide to use light colors to describe this loneliness as well, to make a contradictory contrast, and still follow my minimal style.
