Yue, also known as Anita Chen, is a fashion and textile designer living and working in Sydney. Yue studied honours degree of Design in Fashion and Textile at University of Technology, Sydney and graduated in 2015.

Yue's work can be described as hybrid mix, embracing the elements of East and West. It features ancient Eastern culture and Western contemporary culture.

Latest Collection

Ignite

This collection is called Ignis, which is a Latin word, meaning flames. The collection is taking inspiration from the installation ‘Fire in a Box’, by Thai artist, Tanapol kaewpring. The collection depicted as an intimidation of the juxtaposition of structural line and fluidity created by the artwork; a character also being developed. Her, a narrative who is fixed with a binary of two defining attributes. Outwardly, she appears to be humble and conservative. Underneath she has buried a fierce passion and emotion, desire of freedom, as there is a flame within her heart, waiting to break out.
