Y-Z STUDIO is a young, innovative brand that created by Zachary Wu in 2015.
The design aim to use deconstruction of basic structure and transform to different silhouette. By using the idea of daily issue and sarcasm, Y-Z STUDIO has set the goal of designing for those who have their very own perspective of beauty.The esthetic of Y-Z STUDIO is built with deconstruction and minimalism. Combine the silhouette of menswear to build up the style of sophisticated and unisex womenswear.

2018 S/S GREETING ACD

Y-Z STUDIO 2018 SPRING/ SUMMER collection ‘Greeting OCD’ was inspired by the symptoms of OCD. By using the opposite way of the standard silhouette, cutting line and the placement of the details from the garment. This season focuses on the concept of‘’non- satisfaction’’ to show another version of garments which are not followed by standard manner. Also, the design is following the main aesthetic of deconstructionism and minimalism with simple pieces come along with non-closed front-open zipper detail, drop-shoulder dresses and the details of missing buttons from the shirts. Moreover, we transform the facing from the coat and jackets into the real decorative details, showing on the surface of the garments but sewed as patches with the beading way.
