All our materials are eco-friendly and our production line is based in fair trade’s standards.

Our designs are based in an inventive world where traditional handmade techniques meets punk, colors, modern/past references, kindness and urbanity.

THE DESIGNER
Marie Castro is a young brazilian fashion designer. At age of 15, she started her studies and experiments in fashion, textile arts and handmade crafts. In 2008 she was one of the winner of “L’oreal Criando Moda” competition held in São Paulo and the curators of the contest were Paulo Borges(Luminosidade, SPFW), Maria Prata (journalist), Lilian Pacce (journalist) and other important names in Brazilian fashion. She developed a singular work with freeform crochet and for several years is the only south american designer in the “International Freeform Guild” books and exhibitions. Her creation in “International Freeform Guild’s show 4 seasons” was invited to be part of an exhibition that was held in Colorado (USA) at The San Luis Valley Folk Arts and Fiber Festival. For several months she was working for Daslu, one of the richest fashion companies from Brazil. She presented collections in Fashion Rio(Rio Moda Hype), Japan Experience and Dragão Fashion Brazil. Most recently she was part of “Movimento Hotspot” exhibition held in 13 local festivals in different brazilian main cities. As curators, at this time, Marie had Elle’s editor Suzana Barbosa and Paulo Martinez. Her collections are sold in Japan, Brazil and Europe. But also accepts orders worldwide, having customers in USA, Singapore, Israel, France and Australia. She's also developing knitwear for Karin Feller's fashion label. The artist now are working on a new collection, launching a whole new concept to the label.

She’s occasionally an amateur musician and loves cooking, writing, traveling and jogging.
