SAV LAVIN is short from her name, Savira Lavinia.
she was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia.
She placed her distinctive stamp on fashion in beyond her imagination
of newborn concept consisting the unknown citizen’s memory
who lives in another dimension.

BEHIND THE BRAND
As the theme for SAV LAVIN’s collections change,
the vision stays the same: A dedication to create a twist story behind
the concept using traditional handcraft methods and
couture techniques within ready-to-wear.

THE COLLECTIONS
SAV LAVIN experiments with science and materials such as a hand-made
thermochromic textured and manually moulded rubber fabric, neoprene, mesh,
basic patterns play with hand-drawn illustrations printed digitally and
drawn manually on mesh and cotton fabrics.
The consistent blend of bright colors and materials creates a look of
mixed childishly wild and tamed to each design.

Augment no.2

art wear inspired by the sculpture that I created titled "Augment". for this collection's theme, I picked up elements from "the roschach test" which is a method of psychological evaluation made in 1921 Hermann Rorschach for exploring the perspective of somebody's vision towards abstract image created. And that is what I want to show, an abstract motif that's seen by people with their own perspectives.

My inspiration is the world of someone who is not in general ,but in the dimensions of an alien life out there. I tried to create a new image and the content of her world. I choose to uncover the world of other people who are from my own imagination so that I get to make my work original.

The technique I'm using mostly for this collection is laser cutting technique on leather and rubber fabric. using my own motif to create a method that I'd call "locking" where I could lock each pieces together to create the fabric detail.
