KINTSUGI - The Art Of Broken Pieces

Inspiration taken from the Japanese culture and their way of making art. The word Kintsugi means "the art of broken pieces", which is a Japanese method for repairing broken ceramics with a special lacquer mixed with gold, silver or platinum.
The philosophy behind the technique is to recognise the history of the object and visibly incorporate the repair into the new piece instead of disguising it.
We have also taken inspiration from beautiful ceramics with patterns and we have developed a technique they use in Japan to create marble affects. This VOL. 5 collection offer a casual wibe with a mix of feminine and masculine silhuettes. We have used strong colours in our prints and and each piece is created to be in the center of attention.
