Philippa Galasso is the young, fresh talent behind the eponymous 'Philippa Galasso' fashion design label, which originated in Sydney, Australia, and is already making inroads into the Paris Fashion scene. After winning an Australian Wool Award for design at the age of only fifteen, Philippa studied for three years at Sydney’s Ultimo TAFE’s well known and respected Fashion Design Studio, graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design. She then set about setting up her own brand. Her commissioned garments for red carpet events for the entertainment industry in Australia received great critical acclaim, giving her the exposure she needed to pursue her passion and live her dream. She has now followed that dream to Paris and brings the same flair and passion to the establishment of her label there.

Rêve Noir

This collection 'Rêve Noir' plays on the notion that elegance is Black. Using only the finest silks, French chantilly laces and Swarovski crystal beads, this collection displays a range of elegant evening garments featuring a variety of textures which show through the sheerness of the fabrics. Traditional couture techniques are used to create something fresh and modern. Structure in the designs enhance and hug the curves of a woman, making this collection supremely feminine.
