OTHERNESS is a contemporary jewelry brand based in Maastricht, The Netherlands. It was founded in 2014 by Chrissie Pepels right after she graduated from the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design (MAFAD). OTHERNESS is her way to express her love for surrealism and share her unconventional view on the world with others.
The key ingredients of OTHERNESS’ jewelry are a mixture of design, fashion, illustration and daydreams. It’s sadistic and playful, sinister yet fun and showing not to take life too seriously. OTHERNESS’ collections are lively, colorful, surreal and made to be looked at.
