This project is inspired through multiple sources: garment construction in different design disciplines, the working methods and artworks of Louise Bourgeois and the technical potentials of digital knitting - the sheer love of knit.

Throughout the project it is my goal to explore shaping potentials in knitting.
Part of the collection is shaped through patterns of knit and purl stitches. The conflict between the stitches distort the fabric to create shape in itself. In these styles I have worked around the body without cutting the fabric.

In the project I worked with basis in a manifest, descriptive of my to attitude to knitting - I work uncompromisingly to maintain the loop structure of the textile, this means I have not allowed myself to cut it to create shape.
