The design philosophy at Nesaa embodies classic elegance with an ethnic aesthetic. Handcrafted traditions are honoured in the form of contemporary accessories - each consists of only the most exquisite elements; artisanal leathers, colourful hand-woven silks, careful and skilled embroideries and intricate details that showcase a heritage that is all too often lost in the name of fast fashion today.

Inspired by the sophisticated craftsmanship and rich, cultural history of the sub-continent, evidenced in the ornamentation of their costumes and architecture, Meher studied traditional textile techniques from around the world. Working closely with skilled craftsmen, this designer had a desire to showcase these talents, and a vision to bring handicrafts to the forefront of fashion -- not handicrafts in today’s sense of the word that appear as though little attention is given to quality and professionalism, but supreme pieces of work that are polished and finished to perfection.

Nesaa cultivates relationships with these artisans, empowering them to continue working in their craft, keeping it alive for future generations to come. Each carefully fashioned piece stays true to our ethos of ethics and integrity, while being a statement of beauty and timelessness.
