MONIKA ZAJACZKOWSKA

Monika Zajączkowska is a young artist specializing in conceptual fashion. Her last work is a mini collection of clothes that fold like a sheet of paper and constitute a fancy gadget. Their minimalistic and geometrical form comes together with controversial fabric that resembles wet hair. The collection was presented in Płock during the Beauty Festival. It was also a guiding theme of S/S installation presented at RS1 store in Warsaw.

Two years earlier Monika created a diploma collection, made in 99% of recycled knit. This unique idea met great applause and has immediately been included into NoWomanNoArt exhibition that took place at Concept Store Spot and some time later, into Designer Toys exhibition where it went perfectly together with Kid-robot toys.

Zajączkowska has cooperated with both Polish and foreign fashion companies, however, in the first place, she prefers to cooperate with Polish top designers.
