Mariam Seddiq

m a r i a m.seddiq is a Sydney based Couture and Jewellery Designer. After winning a scholarship with her graduate collection at the Whitehouse Institute of Design, Mariam Seddiq completed her Masters at the renowned Accademia Italiana Arte – Moda Design in Florence, Italy. Seddiq draws influences and focus from her background and culture which express a tribal flare. Her design aesthetic is a juxtaposition of structured Tailoring, fluid drapery and tasteful hand embellishment.

Seddiq has already received acclaimed success through her previous collections which she showcased in New Zealand, Australia and Italy. Her work focuses on transcending the boundaries between evening wear and high fashion.

Seddiq showcased her debut collection at this year's Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia where, she introduced her formal day wear and embellished sport-wear, as well as her Haute Couture gowns using contemporary fabrics.
