Kaylee Cho is a Korean designer who is based in Seoul, but educated in the United States. While living in Seattle she learned pattern making, after leaving her corporate job during the financial crisis in 2007. This unleashed a forgotten passion in Kaylee, which in turn made her relocate to Los Angles to enroll in the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where she graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. Upon graduation she free-lanced as a pattern maker and seamstress later moving to New York where she interned with Assembly, New York. In 2012 she returned to Korea where she launched her own line which debuted in the fall of 2013. Kaylee's designs are practical, chic and effortless. Her inspiration comes from minimalistic arts, architectures, war remains and modern paintings and her focus lies in their shapes, lights and shadows.
