Our debut collection for Spring 2016 is titled “The Full Bloom collection”. The collection was inspired by the iola woman as it explores her individuality and substance.
It is themed around floral prints featured on a mixed fabrication. Just like a flower (rose) she blooms where she is planted. She is rare, she is beautiful and delicate but her thorns make her tough.
These attributes are reflected in our fabric selection, in each instance where two or more fabrics are featured together, her story is told differently.
The chiffon and georgette are two distinct fabrics both pure and fluid, they tell her story of vulnerability and sensuality reflective on her softer and delicate attributes. They also tell her story of chaos and uncertainty represented in the highly twisted yarns both fabrics are made of.
And finally, the polyesters toughness and slight shine tell her story of overcoming adversity and hope while the sueded which is luxe and rich say nothing more than wealth and success.
“The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of them all”.
