Prague-based designer Hana Frišonsová is focused on the use of traditional techniques with a contemporary conception. In her collections, she typically combines expressive show pieces with wearable and functional clothes. Her style is characterized by boldly defined silhouettes and eye-catching accessories, such as necklaces, bracelets, masks, or shoes. Each collection is a mix of tradition with futurism, individuality and self-expression.
She was awarded the ERSTE BANK FASHION AWARD in Vienna during the 11 Festival for Fashion and Photography. The award promotes extraordinary designers from Central and Eastern Europe. As one of the four chosen finalists, she presented her work at the fashion show SHOOTING FASHION STARS 2012, which supports young Czech and Slovak talents. She exhibited her work during FASHIONCLASH MAASTRICHT 2013 and INTERNATIONAL FASHION SHOWCASE 2014 in London, presented a fashion show during MERCEDES-BENZ PRAGUE FASHION WEEK and several times participated on FASHIONCLASH FESTIVAL. Hana was nominated for Fashion Designer of the Year at CZECH GRAND DESIGN 2014 - Annual awards of the Academy of Design of the Czech Republic.
