ERIC MATYASH

We are Eric Maj Potočnik and Matjaž Plošinjak, Slovenia based fashion designers.
In 2004 we established our own fashion label MEM couture and rebranded it as Eric Matyash in 2012.

Eric Matyash always remains loyal to its distinguishable image, peculiar silhouette and recognizable details. We devote lots of time and energy focusing on unique identity of an individual. A strong concept is always the base of the creative process. We interpret stories through garments & accessories we design. Furthermore, we love to play with re-creating human proportions and symbiosis of contrast textiles and patterns. Story-telling results a unique image of the brand and this is probably the main reason Eric Matyash has become a recognizable name of the Slovenian fashion. Even though we both are self-taught designers, we have yet collaborated with various individuals and societies from the media world, culture, music, design and economy.
Besides fashion design we also work as stylists, costume designers and fashion/design curators, creatively directing the international fashion design platform IDENTITY DRESS.
