In Chicanx culture, San Marcos cobijas (blankets) are a timeless household item. Their prevalence in homes and their distinct character, make them uniquely familiar and comforting items for Chicanx people across the country.

I wanted to share that affection with the world, so I began with some of my favorite cobijas, and I cut and designed outerwear with them.
