EA 4th was founded by Akharadet “Acky” Ekchanok in early 2015.

Acky is a Thai-Swedish designer who participated in season 1 of Project Runway Sweden where he reached 4th place.
He graduated from Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan in July 2011 and was selected to show his final collection at the school’s graduation show where only the best students are invited to take part.

In March 2012, Acky participated in the Fresh Fish competition in Gothenburg and won first prize as best upcoming designer.

EA 4th is defined by a combination of clean shapes with organic lines and cuts to create interesting details.
Acky is very well aware of details. He likes to experiment with different techniques to create dimensions and movements on the garments but at the same time keeping it discreet, minimal and functional.

Inspiration for the collections mostly comes from human emotions combined with contemporary architecture as well as nature. EA 4th produces modern wearable fashion clothes for both men and women. The garments are produced in limited numbers and are all handmade.

Nudibranch

The SS’ 16 collection inspirations are a combination of nudibranch and the organic architecture.

Nudibranch are often casually called sea slugs. They are noted for their extraordinary movements and softness. The organic lines and silhouette they create gives the feelings of harmony.
Organic architecture refers to harmony, which promotes between human habitation and nature through design.
Hence, human habitation in this case becomes human clothing with the modern touch design and silhouette of nudibranch appearance, the organic lines, movements, softness and harmony.

The colors are in soft pastel to create the softness and harmony to the collection such as off white, light mint and soft pink.
