DORO

DORO is our childish fascination with shape, colour and paint. Our sophomore ready-to-wear collection, ONE OF_ for Autumn/Winter 17 follows on from our debut PLAY, launched for Spring/Summer '17.Everything is designed and painted locally at Schoolhouse Studios in Collingwood fuelled by coffees at Allpress and knock off Negronis at Rupert on Rupert.  Both of our collections are based on creating relaxed staple pieces with a twist by using innovative pattern cutting and garment construction techniques, as well as sourcing high-quality fabrics & hand painting our own prints.

Our AW17 ONE OF_ collection is made up of limited, small run & hand painted pieces using fabric sourced from Japan and New Zealand. ONE OF_ centres on everyday wearability. The relaxed pieces make for cool weather essentials yet encourage playful styling. DORO embodies the idea of slow fashion, made to order pieces and limited production. We are sustainable and follow Australian Ethical Standards while creating cool, comfortable and clean designs which inspires our wearers and those around them. All pieces are to date are made and designed in Melbourne.

We are taking the brand to Amsterdam & Europe in a few month as my partner and I are relocating, with DORO continuing as is. We will be producing a limited run Summer collection like ONE OF once we arrive in Amsterdam...Stay tuned!!
