Cen Si is a Parsons graduate, born in China and raised in Finland. With a heavy focus on print design and color, Cen uses a rich color palette in her all gender collection to create a quirky, slightly athletic style inspired by her musical compositions - expressing a story about her childhood in Finland the same way an unpolished tune is transformed into a beautiful, complete piece. Technology and digital interaction is used as a platform to create emotional connection to the garments similar to how music moves and connects people. The improvised melody behind each print can be accessed through QR codes on the washlabels – you could wear the garment and simultaneously listen to the source of its inspiration, if you so choose. Cen also specializes in accessory design and has a variety of work experiences with companies such as Thom Browne, Public School and Gap.
