CHIC FREAK

Tamarisk studied History of Art for several years firstly with a foundation course and then Fashion Illustration at the prestigious London College of Fashion. Knowing her love lay in clothing she quickly jumped to Costume Design for film and theatre, which allowed Tamarisk to be more creative and flamboyant. Galliano was a huge inspiration for Tamarisk at this point which was apparent of her work.

With such a hunger for education, Tamarisk's journey took her onto a Fashion & Photographic make-up course at Glauca Rossi School of make-up. After graduating, she began working in a photographic make-up studio assisting Kimberley Pearce – Harlow who did the make-up for David Bowie on the cover of Aladdin Sane. Tamarisk has since gone onto work on a number of editorials and campaigns which have earned her a respected place within the make-up field and has also put her abilities to use at Chic Freak with commissioned shoots that have taken place in her destination boutique.
