Caroline Perino is a Brazilian fashion designer based in London. She has recently graduated in a Masters in Fashion from Kingston University London. During the last term of her Masters, and among a class of over 40 MA Fashion students from the whole world, Caroline was selected as one of the few students to showcase a fashion collection publicly at the Design Museum in London. She was not only selected for the show as she was also granted two sponsorships from two great brands, one of them being the famous crystal’s SWAROVSKI company and the other being the Italian supplier of buttons and trims to luxury brands, the also prestigious BOTTONIFICIO PADANO.
One of Caroline's passions is developing textiles, either with embellishments, different technologies, embroidered, with different patterns, different fabrics or anything possible. During her studies she also worked as a Design Assistant at the London Fashion Week luxury brand Emilio de La Morena, where she attained plenty of experience towards all the areas of a fashion brand, from research, to design, to production and sells.
The designer had previously graduated in a BA in Fashion in Brazil, where she worked as a fashion researcher both voluntarily and as an intern. During her studies in this BA, she exposed three times (3) her fashion research studies at a National level in Brazil. Later on in 2015, she studied at Central Saint Martins in London. After a stint studying at Central Saint Martins in 2015 and back to her home country, Perino started pitching lectures about international fashion and the International Fashion Industry to Brazilian universities. Currently she also teaches students how to develop portfolios for coveted fashion courses abroad or guide them through the making of their collections. Previously in the year of 2017 during her MA, she was also selected as a finalist for a business competition at Kingston University, where she presented her business model for CAROLINE PERINO, her own brand. And recently she was invited to showcase her A/W 2018 collection during LONDON FASHION WEEK, on which her show was a total success and got her selected as one of the top finalists for the Britain’s Top Designer Award. With very high ambitions, her ultimate goal is to open her own luxury label.
