Collection – Space Of My Own

When it comes to displacement, it links to refugee or moving easily. However, for myself, it is not just suitable for these situation, but most of us faces displacement.

Living in Chinese society, people were taught about Confucian, culture and other Chinese philosophy when they are at school.

The traditional “Si Duan” idea sought harmony between man and the universe and emphasised the individual’s ethics and morality. If people follow the belief, everyone is like family, and respect to each.

However, we are not living in utopia. The society is full of selfish minds, most of the people are not interested in following and even having no idea about the traditional beliefs. Living in a world full of “negative mind”, each of us lives in a little circle against to each other. Displacement does not just happen on refugee or movement, but actually next to us. Numerous of selfish attitudes now evident in Hong Kong society, and as well as the worldwide. The selfishness is ruining the society and turn people like a monster.

Space of my own is the experimental unisex collection, using heavy texture and unique silhouette indicate the concept of displacement and collapse of belief and humanity.
