Begum Akdoganlar has graduated from Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan
qualifying as No:1 in grades specializing in Fashion, Textile and
Accessories Design. Upon her return to Istanbul she prepared various
collections for some of the prominent fashion design companies in Turkey
and still she acts as a consultant for some of these companies.

She has set up the BEGART brand in 2012.

She is using her creative competence in working with exotic animal skins
in her designs. She buys these leathers and all her other accessories from
Italy and France. And produced them in Istanbul - Turkey.

She also makes special designs for selected people in addition to her
collections. Apart from bags and clutches, she also designs goods like bracelets, belts,
protective covers for technologic products, wallets, card holders, folders
etc.

These goods are also on sale in Ankara, Izmir, Alacati, Bursa, Bodrum, Adana, Antalya in
special boutiques in addition to stores in Istanbul. Also in online; www.auvintage.com. She started to sell BEGART in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, Jeddah, Qatar, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Osaka , New Delhi, Milano, Brescia, Miami and Moscow.

She has designed her 2013-14 autumn - winter collection with matching hand
embroidered tapestries with python skins.

The tapestry collection will always be available all year long in the "
exclusive" section of her brand.

She will also add special handmade designs from natural woods with marquetry,
plexiglass with wood and tapestry with exotic skins to her exclusive line in 2014-2015 autumn winter collection.

She exhibited this collection in Paris Premiere Classe Jardin des Tuileries on 28 February – 3 March 2014. She created her 2015 spring summer collection for the edition of Paris Premiere Classe Jardin Des Tuileries on 26 – 29 September 2014. Last month she showed her latest collection which belongs to 15-16 A/W, in Premiere Classe Paris, during Paris Fashion Week.
